NotePlan is a calendar-driven note-taking and task management app that combines markdown notes with powerful time blocking capabilities.
NotePlan supports time blocking by creating visual blocks of time in your timeline, which displays events, reminders, and time-blocked tasks.
You can instantly create time blocks by typing a timecode like: 9-11 am or 15:00-16:00 directly in your markdown notes. NotePlan automatically places the task on your calendar timeline.
The easiest way to add a time block is to drag a checklist, task, or bullet into the timeline (on Mac in the right sidebar, on iOS at the bottom by tapping the calendar + clock icon).
The latest update lets you promote time blocks created in NotePlan to full calendar events in a calendar of your choice, allowing you to send your timeline into other calendar and scheduling apps like Google Calendar or Outlook to mark yourself as unavailable.
Your notes are based on Markdown and saved in plain text files, meaning your data is easily accessible at all times and highly portable.
Available on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS.
