Forest App 1.5 Million Real Trees

Real-World Impact of Digital Productivity

Since 2016, Forest app users have helped plant over 1.5 million real trees across the globe, connecting personal productivity with environmental action.

How It Works

Virtual to Real

1. Earn Coins: Complete focus sessions to grow virtual trees
2. Accumulate Currency: Receive virtual coins for successful sessions
3. Plant Real Trees: Spend coins to fund actual tree planting
4. Trees for the Future: Partnership plants trees in developing countries

The Mechanism

• Stay focused for 30+ minutes: Grow virtual tree, earn coins
• Leave app: Virtual tree dies, no coins earned
• Collect enough coins: Exchange for real tree planting
• Forest donates to Trees for the Future
• Real trees planted by local communities
