## Details

## Real-World Impact of Digital Productivity

Since 2016, Forest app users have helped plant over 1.5 million real trees across the globe, connecting personal productivity with environmental action.

## How It Works

### Virtual to Real
1. **Earn Coins**: Complete focus sessions to grow virtual trees
2. **Accumulate Currency**: Receive virtual coins for successful sessions
3. **Plant Real Trees**: Spend coins to fund actual tree planting
4. **Trees for the Future**: Partnership plants trees in developing countries

### The Mechanism
- Stay focused for 30+ minutes: Grow virtual tree, earn coins
- Leave app: Virtual tree dies, no coins earned
- Collect enough coins: Exchange for real tree planting
- Forest donates to Trees for the Future
- Real trees planted by local communities

## Environmental Impact
